Opie
Opie is a 1970 VW Campervan that looked very different when we first got him. Named after Opie from the Sons of Anarchy series, he had an amazing transformation. It was tired and used only as a day van when the owners first purchased him, following a full makeover of the interior and a full surround sound stereo with a dvd player two screens, 13 speakers and three amplifiers it was like a cinema on wheels.
Custom Speaker Pods
I designed and built custom speaker pods intergrating 3" midrange speakers and a 1" tweeter for the rear of Opie.
Custom Gear Knob
I was asked to create a custom gear knob to match the campervan interior. This was made from Walnut, Ash and Purple Heart around a gearstick thredded insert to ensure a perfect fit.
Custom Bespoke Table
When this interior was first discussed the owner wanted it painted. As I provide build updates to customers if they wish, my customer quickly decided that they loved the tones and natural shades in the wood so much that it was given several coats of danish oil to really make it pop.
